Refurbishment and Conversions
Since 2001 we have been involved in various refurbishment and conversion projects; here are some of the latest:
Weavills Rd 2006
1935 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom bungalow converted to a modern 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom chalet bungalow which included a 4 metre rear extension - the raising of the roof to add a second floor - a complete re-wire - new heating system - re-plastered - oak floors throughout - complete decoration with a raised driveway for 2 cars - landscaped gardens - decking and workshop.
C+ undertook all the carpentry and the full management post planning.
The total refurbishment of a 2 bedroom flint cottage to include lower floor tanking - new flitch beams to stabilise roof - the re-building of internal and external flint walls - hardwood windows throughout - a complete re-wire and new heating system and the bricking up of unused garage space - creating an open plan kitchen and utility room.
C+ undertook all the carpentry and full project management
working with architects - structural engineers and sub contaractors
Meonstoke house and Drayton house were both major refurbishment projects.
C+ undertook the supply of carpenters and bespoke joinery
Sunset Cottage was created by the conversion of a large double garage and the separation of other unused parts of our client's main house to include a loft room an unused 2nd reception room and a downstairs wc. We gained access to the 2nd floor via a new internal staircase with the large double garage being converted to an open plan kitchen & dining area - all original parts of the property were fully refurbished to include re-wiring - new heating system.- oak flooring and storage throughout. We created a separate entrance and were able to retain some of the old character of the property whilst creating a large modern self contained 1 bedroom cottage, which our client has rented.
